How many NeurOptimal® sessions will I need?

Everyone’s central nervous system is unique. As a result, it is difficult to predict the exact number of NeurOptimal® sessions you will need. However, after tens of thousands of sessions, it is possible to provide general guidelines or rules of thumb.

The Six Session “Rule”

You can expect SOMETHING to shift within six sessions. Often, it is much quicker than that. Early on, clients commonly report feeling more rested, an improved outlook, and engaging more effectively with colleagues and loved ones. Changes you experience may or may not be related to the goals you came in with, but generally speaking, any kind of shift is a positive indication that the NeurOptimal® brain training is working as designed.

Clients describe feeling clearer, calmer, lighter or brighter for a few hours after the session – a feeling that typically lasts days, then a week, and longer as more sessions are completed over time). Eventually, this new centered way of being becomes the “New Normal”. If you experience a negative event (a bad day at work, chemicals, or a knock on the head …) you might drop back into the way you felt before. But generally, your dip is not as deep into the emotional discomfort you would have experienced before your sessions and you will more than likely bounce back from the challenging situation quickly and easily.

The “New Normal” Threshold

How many NeurOptimal® sessions does it take to get to your “New Normal”? As NeurOptimal® has improved and evolved, reaching a new, improved baseline comes quicker and quicker. In general 20 sessions are necessary to address issues bothering you in the “here and now”; 30 plus sessions for the “deeper” problems that originated earlier in life. That said, many are finding that significant results occur in much less time. Today, it is possible to be feeling much better in fewer than 20 NeurOptimal® sessions.

In the end, the more sessions you do, the more the positive effects will stay with you. Much like learning a language or a physical skill like rollerblading, “practice makes perfect”. The more sessions you undergo the better your brain fitness!
